A destination brewery

Are you looking for ways to discover delicious craft beers not too far from Paris in a beautiful Normandy countryside setting? Look no further!

A destination brewery presents its production facility to educate the public about the beer making process while adding entertainment elements in order to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in its taproom. Our brewery is worth the trip thanks to the quality of our beers, it is also a place where you can come over, taste and share a pint on the beautiful Moulin de Brotz site, surrounded by ponds and century old trees. In this superb setting, you will discover different styles and recipes, enjoy our beer garden, taproom, paddle boats, kayaks, bocce ball court, picnic tables, etc. You can fish the estate lakes and rivers and become a member of our beer club.

We offer brewery visits with beer flights, two and five liter growlers, bottles and kegs to go, ice cream, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for kids. We have partnerships with food trucks that come on some weekends to prepare galettes, pizzas, panini, etc. Check our Events section to consult the schedule and come with your family spend a few hours with us!

The Brotz watermill was built in the XVII century and is part of Miserai's estate located in the village of L'Hôme-Chamondot. Miserai is a 300 acre family owned property available for short terms rentals and events, 90 minutes from Paris.

A family venture

We wanted to bring together everyone's skills around a common project in this environment dear to us.
Dominique, co-founder of Brasserie du Perche, is managing director for Eurobrew, a company that imports specialty beers from around the world into the US market. Christian, sales manager, has developed over the past few years the current distribution network that includes more than 40 stores in the Perche region of Normandy.

The new generation is getting involved as well! Emmanuel, our master brewer, after a few training sessions with several craft breweries and a degree from IFBM in Nancy is assisted by his wife Sophie. Stephanie and Barry after getting married at Miserai, moved from Ireland to run the wedding business and help out at the brewery. Alix, our graphic design artist brings her talents and creativity to the marketing department.
